While I haven't looked in to why, the outside diameter is larger than the inside on the majority of SC truck wheels. I'd imagine there is a clearance issue on the inside, so the 2.2 stadium truck wheels may not work. That's my guess.

Now for my question. I decided to put it here as to not start a new thread.

The Pro-Line Caliber seems to be the SC tire of choice. What else have you used that you think compares? Anything not Pro-line. I have an issue with Pro-Line at the moment and won't be buying their products any time soon.

So who else makes a SC tires that you're digging? One that works on the style of track the Caliber has been working on for you.

I think Jconcepts makes some goosebumps that work ok.

I like Subcultures but they wear fast. Would like to try Enduros next.

Yes, 2.2 truck wheels will fit. I ran Losi/AE 2.2 on ours for a while with the drive pins. I would recommend going with 12mm hex though as you are saying.

I like the 3 tier design on them. I haven't drove enough with them enough to wear them past the 1st tier yet.
