Default HELP: How To Replace Motor Bearing

Last Sunday I went for a race with my SCRT10 in wet track (and I won 1st place ). Two days later I've found that my motor bearing was shot . Today I had the motor dismantled and try to find out how to pull the bearing safely off the motor. Any ideas? Because I'm way too scared ruining the motor case. Thanks...

Simply just tap the old one out and tap the new one in.

The biggest thing to pay attention to is tapping it back in straight.

If it spooks you to do it. Send it in, and we can take care of it for you.

Default bearings

+1,very easy, just take out the armature slowly and just tap it out lightly and should pop right out.then carefully pop the new one in,my buddy had to do this to the silver 4.5 in his ofna hyper 10sc,that's why i bought the ballistic because it had bigger bearings i think.

I assume your talking about the bearing in the end bell .
Whats the best way to tap it out. Use a solid wood dowel.
this will prevent you from gouging up the area where the bearings
rest in. Some people use metal , but I prefer wood ,it prevents other
headaches.

be real nice to ur mrs. make her dinner and after u send her off with a nice fruity fun adult beverage or glass of 'vino to watch her fav show. knick back into the kitchen and turn on the oven and heat that block up nice and hot to make those bearings drop out much easier.

A wooden dowel and the but end of a screw driver. He placed the dowel in the bearing hole on the outside and just tapped the dowel with the end of the screwdriver, and it fell right out.Hope this helped.

and to help get them back in toss the bearings in the freezer for a few hours or a day and then quickly slap them in. I always do this with the bearing on my fourwheeler and it makes them way way easier
