pmd you back. Very nice offer, but I think my little nephew would burn a 15T up pretty quick.

why not just go brushless and put it in training mode? itll pay for itself pretty quickly and it can be ran on lipo later on and transferred to a new car if need be.

I have heard a lot of good things about both the speedgems and the S-600 with the s-600 being the slower of the 2.. but I have to admit both of my titans have held up great so far. But both were broken in with water and cleaned out and relubed every few runs.

And once he is used to the truck Brushless really is the way to go just pick up a decient one on here in the marketplace and turn it down enough that he can work his way up to full speed. I know on the VXL you can easily just set it to training mode and I believe on others you can program the throttle control down(I have never done this so I could be wrong)

believe me, if it were up to me I would put the VXL system in it now. I know how these things work out and that is probably what he will get eventually. My brother in law doesn't want to spend the money on it though, even though you can get some nice used ones on here for $100.

I will just let him continue to buy brushed motors until he gets tired of it.
