Default Need help picking a buggy..

Hey guys. I'm new to the scene.. I dont know anything yet. My friend just got a TC3 car the other day and I liked it and decided to get one, except I want an offroad type. I wont be racing just bashing. I've been trying to look through pictures on here to see the type I like. I really like the look of this one owned by DOMO.

First of all ask yourself these questions. Am I going to race? How much do I have to spend? kit or RTR? etc....

For racing the MP7.5 is a good bet, super expensive, but pretty much any racing setup will be. Check out manufacturer websites and magazine to see what buggies you like.

Theres a start for you.

I'm not an owner, but however my cousin has an OFNA Hyper7 PCR (Paul Coleman Racing) RTR, and he and I love it! We seriously have broken one thing: an arm! Being you're a beginner I'd suggest the RTR...

I was gunna get one but I decided to stick to electric...

So my Vote is for an OFNA Hyper 7 PCR RTR (a LOT of acronyms there!)

ya the OFNA hyper seven is a really good buggie, a couple of guys at my local hobbie shop track race hyper 7's, or you could look at The OFNA mbx or the new OFNA LX COMP, which is pretty much like the OFNA ULTRA LX PRO. I had a ULTRA LX PRO and that thing ripped. I would suggest sticking with a OFNA if you want a good price and quality products or if your lookin to drop some cash go with Mugen they also have AWSOME products, but the down side A BIG LOAD OF MONEY. So I hope I helped you good luck bro got any more questions jus let me know.

The Ultra MBX and LX buggies really are junk compared to the Hyper 7. The PCR car is basically what the team guys use to race with, it just comes prebuilt.

HeY!!!

I was talking w/ Gary Katzer from R/C Driver and he just got a Mayhem to test and he said it's a really nice buggy, durable, and has plenty of traction and fun to just bash around and could take the beating...
