Default anyone using e revo esc mount on rc8be?

im new to the 1/8 game and just picked up a rc8be.i am also using the casle creations 1/8 mamba monster combo with the 2200kv motor
was wondering if this is a good choice to go with while using this system? looks very nice and looks like it would hold the esc in pretty well. just need some opinions as to weather or not to get it the part number is

Traxxas TRA5626*Mamba Monster ESC Mount Plate E-REVO

any input would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Best couple of bucks I ever on my conversion: especially when I show off my amazing crashing abilities, keeps my esc locked down and safe.

YES! this is the best way IMO to mount a mamba monster in the rc8be/rc8e or from what I have heard to mount the monster in just about everything. I put a thin layer of foam under the esc and use the traxxas mount to hold it in place. I will post a pic. The on off switch is moved to the side to give room for the battery.

Sorry to revive this somewhat old thread, but hopefully someone can help me.

I'd like to use the erevo esc mount on my RC8BE. Some people have mentioned using a locknut to bolt down the esc mount. But I don't see how there is enough room on the bottom side of the RC8BE esc tray to put a locknut there.

Can someone describe in detail how to securely attach this esc mount to the tray?

Thanks
