Uses of SHOO GOO!!!
#5
I use Shoe Goo to line the outers of my bodyshell and the areas where the body posts are. Cracked edges are a thing of the past
Also use it to mount my antenna spring onto my receiver antenna tube. Works in slightly coating a little shoe goo to the screws that turn into plastic parts to give a better hold. *Just a little bit*

I use Shoo Goo on/to.....
Repair bodies
Reinforce crack prone areas of bodies.
Further secure servo tape mounted electronics. Just a short bead on the edges. Sometimes stuff still squirms too much with just servo tape.
A dab on half a screw head and part so the screw wont loosen.
Balance wheels/tires.
Transponders. Reinforce the wires where it comes out of the case. A small dab half on the wire and half on the case.
Secure antenna tube to mount.

Did you read my post from the other thread?
Anyhoo. One of the most recent things I did with shoe goo was to re seal a transponder after doing a wire replacement.
I had to cut the back of the case off. CAREFULLY Dremel out the epoxy to get to the solder joints, and re solder fresh cut ends to the board. Once I was finished, I re sealed the transponder with a bit of goo and a piece of .030 Lexan. One the goo dried, i trimmed and sanded the edges of the Lexan for a clean smooth look.

I liked to shoe-goo my hinge pin e-clips so they didn't fall off. You could just peel it off when you wanted to remove the e-clip

How long does shoo goo last? My tube seems to no longer be sticky/tacky and it isn't that old. I needed it recently to fix some bodies (and to reinforce some new ones).

I have a tube that I know is at least ten years old and I just used it to glue a grip back on my ZTR mower.
