I cant stand that either when owners/employees seem like they do not know the hobby. Question's cannot be answered correctly and more stuff sold wrong then right and customers get frustrated.

Default MyAtomic statement

I got this from their Facebook page.....
-------------------------------------

MyAtomic is currently processing orders placed on the site for clearance
items. The company hasn't went out of business, but we are in a major
holding pattern because PayPal has decided to hold hundreds of thousands
from our cash flow. Our lawyers are trying to work on a resolution with
PayPal. Their legal department is very slow to respond. If you Google search
lawsuits against PayPal you will see we aren't the only business with this
issue. As for orders not processed, the only way to get your money back for
non-shipped orders is to dispute the balance that is still owed to you with
your bank. PayPal will not let ANY money be refunded to our customers! We
apologize for not responding to each individual concern.

Over the past seven years we had built one of the best hobby sites all
because we listened to you our customers. Our sales were always records and
our company was profitable. This year we were on track to do 10 million in
sales this year, up 55% from last year and without a doubt would have hit
that number. So we know what we were doing is what our customer wanted. We
thank all of our past customers for their support and wish you the best in
your hobbies.

Sincerely,

Jon Bransfield
President

It seems that MyAtomic has had a long history of bad customer service based on the “Google” searches I have done…going back years. It has been one reason after another. I will say that they have (had) the best deal going as the prices are generally lower (most all the time) and the shipping can’t be beat. Amain is good, but still no MyAtomic. I don’t want to have to go looking for Codes to save a few bucks, I want click and buy.

I hope MyAtomic gets their act together soon! I think it is a shame that they have just left everyone in the dark...how many phone calls and emails have gone unanswered??? They could have set up an automatic response in their email system letting everyone know what is going on. In this day and age of mass (free) communication they dropped the ball...Lack of leadership!

I was going to give my atomic a try in the near future 2..Looks like I'll continue ordering from a-main I don't mind paying shipping as long as i get my stuff

I've dealt with PayPal on a shady level... their holding of funds is very real and it does happen. All it takes is a few complaints and PayPal can freeze any money you have in their system. It happened to me in 2006 and took 6 months to resolve before they would release the $5000.00 they had of mine. All it takes is one unhappy customer and bam, PayPal funks you and your business.

i bought an item from them via amazon's website and they sent it out with missing part's , i tried contacting them with no luck , contacted amazon and put a dispute in with them and what do ya know , a few days later i got a full refund and i get to keep the item . Wish it would had been correct the 1st time around bc i had some down time with my vehicle due to this but i guess it kinda worked in my favor. I will not be purchasing anything from my atomic again unless i know for sure they get there stuff together...

My Atomic is so full of BS....... they are the worst scam in the RC industry
and should be banned from every where.
Even after I told my friend about all this ... he was pulled in a deal involving
parts for a FG MT 1/5 ( Gas Tank). My Atomic had them priced for 10-12.00dollars. He figured I wil get a few, he ordered 5 and some front alloy knuckles
total bill 105.00. Still no response to email not a peep...nothing!!!!
This site and any other's need to ban this type of business practice...

+1. I've heard a lot about this happening to business owners. Paypal isn't a bank, so they don't have to follow the same set of rules, or so they think. They force you to sign their "agreement" that forces you into arbitration and reduces your options of suing them. Shady company.

I agree, Myatomic has been good for me in the past and I mean I ordered from them at least one a month (if not more) every month for the past 2-years, but what they are doing right not by not communicating with people is just not right. I feel sorry for the people that have to work there as they can't feel good about the future of their job...

It appears in one form or another they are back. Anyone want to dispute that?
I ordered plenty of times from My atomic and never had any problem .
