Hell yeah! way to go aaron!

I have a small problem....

I can't seem to fit any Pro-line Velocity rims on my T3.... could it be because I bought the T4 rims?

More or less, i'd reccomend any Novak ESC. And for the motor, I'd reccomend a Trinity P2K2, it's what i have and it runs great.

Question for others though, how should i gear with my P2K2...and not neccessarily for highest top speed in my case, just whatever gets me the best acceleration?

Assuming your using the stock spur gear, anywhere from a 18 to a 20 tooth pinion gear would work, experiment with the 3, and see which suits you best. Also check for excess heat in the motor, if its burning hot, gear down.

My friend, "rc10t3" did the same thing, and he bought a Novak Explorer II and a Monster Stock Pro.... So I'd say for stock motors, Go with the Explorer II, and for a motor, go with a P2K2 Pro.... for gearing I'd suggest 17-18 pinion to stock spur...

Post Can The T3 Hang With Them?

I just picked up a T3 rtr from my friend. I'm not new to r/c or anything, in fact I've been racing for quite a while now. I was wondering if the T3 can hang with the T4's & new Losi trucks on the track. I know that it's pretty much up to the driver & all that. I'm talking about it's design & everything. I'm also planning on adding ball bearings to it, what else should I get for it?

I remember at the stock nats last year, Patric Castleberry put his T3 in the upper middle of the A-Main in truck....he was the only associated in the A, against all Losi's. However, the T4 wasn't out then. So, yes it can compete....but not like it would compared to the new truck or a Losi. If you do plan on racing it, get bearings and all the graphite you can, but you'd be much happier with the new truck. Just my opinion.

You will be competitive, but the T4 really plants off of jumps. That was the big thing I noticed and it turns as sharp as I have seen. This was the thing that the T3 just couldn't do as well as the XXXT, especially when we ran indoors on carpet with jumps.
