Default Custom Jammin SCRT10 build thread.

Hey all,
i have spent the last couple years over on the RCM forums while building 1/8 brushless stuff but recently have come over to rctech as there is a lot more info here for SC trucks.
so i just started my build of a Jammin SCRT and want to do a couple things. I have gathered a lot of good info from the SCRT thread here in the forum and have made/will be making alot of the recommended improvements.
One thing i will be doing though is adding mechanical brakes. I much prefer mechanical brakes as i have always done Tekno conversions on my 1/8s and i bought the jammin because of the chassis so i could add brakes. my question is this: to do brakes i need to buy the CRT.5 center outdrives. i already have all the brake pads and discs, servo, cams, etc. are the outdrive cups on the CRT.5 the size to fit the dogbones of the SCRT or are they 1/8 size? in the pics on amain they look like 1/8 size but if they are then i will need to get large center CVDs for my SCRT. any input on this would help so i know what i will be needing to buy.

here are some pics so far. i will post a list of all the goodies later. have some good stuff going into this one.

I actually built my scrt10 from a crt.5 and used the mechanical brakes for just over a week. It wasnt really that noticeable in driving it. I know they are the same size and I am pretty sure the drive cups are the same p/n. If they have flat spots on the side they will work.
