Got a fix for the motor coming out....
Tap the mount that goes on the motor. Close enough to the edge that when you install it into the larger motor mount you can use a screw and washer to pinch the motor in place as well as stop it from popping out of the larger mount.

hi cain. i just put in an order for three sb sports. three ewes is going to have one, and i haven't decided what to do with the other model. overall, how does it compare with the losi 4wd buggy? thanks. hope your having fun.

msuh24: I like my sb sport. The build when together well, just make sure you pay attention to use the long upper and lower shock caps and you should be all set. Also, pay attention to the way everything is put in, especially the diffs as the cases are not unidirectional like on the TC3.
Other than the pin issue I had which alittle dremeling fixed, the car went together quite well. When you do put on the wheels, make sure not to really crank them down as you will cause some binding. You probably can add some washers before putting on the nut and it will work well.
My main experience was with the XX-4 and this vehicle handles as well or better from what I can tell. And from the various reports I have from different people, this vehicle is tougher than the XXX-4.

the idea is same as woodys post...drill a 2.5mm hole and tap to 3mm(or whatever size you want basically) in the motor cam near the edge of it,insert the motor as normal tighten down,now if you put a bolt with a washer in the cam from the rear of the car,the washer will overlap the motormount and stop the motor pulling forwards,simple.
another thing to do is take a file and make sure that when the motor is fixed in the car that the motor is sitting flush with the motor mount,i found on mine that the cam was just catching the chassis hole and not letting it sit square,so i took motor out and filed thru the chassis hole until it was flush with motormount.
ive now tried the purple motormount which is cnc machined and fits much more snug around the motor as opposes to the kit cast one.

the new motor mount does hold the motor better but i didnt have a real problem with the old one as such..i know a few people that did and thats why i amended mine as a precaution.

Ordered the slipper and One Way today, should be here Friday. Had to have them to see the difference they really make.
Head to head, I still like my XX4 better. But this is the reason I'm getting the slipper and one way. Should make them tit for tat. The XX4 is so much the better car than the XXX4.
Talked to Tim (MRC) yesterday and he said that the Machined Antivibration mount is $35 w/o the machined motor mount. The cast one is $20 and the motor mount is included. The Screw fix is the ticket.
