Mark im not sure if there is enought room on the mugen layout for that. It would make for a better balanced car. You gonna come down fkr the cajuin classic next weekend in watson?

I have seen it done but not with "normal" 2 cell packs. It was very custom with home designed battery trays.

I have one setup with dual lipo's but it uses saddle packs instead of stick packs and it took alot of work and machining. I would just buy the caster ex1.5r if you want a dual setup. I would sell mine for $450 and include the lipo's if anyone is interested. The lipos are intellect 2s 6000mah. They work great with a 1900 kv motor.

Anyone have the weight of an mbx6 with the RCM/Elite conversion in full race trim (tires, body and all) BUT minus the battery?

Here is my MBX6 saddle pack setup. A buddy of mine works at a machine shop and did all the customizing. The buggy is balanced very well. I am in the middle of redoing the setup so it should be really good when I am done. I am willing to sell if anyone is interested. It has a elite motor mount and will come with the lipos as well. They may have 5 or 6 runs on them. I will sell for $450 shipped. PM me with any questions.

When I spoke to Kris Moore at Mugen USA last week I asked him for the status on the Mugen 1/8th electric conversion coming from Japan. His reply "Soon!"

There was recently a guy on the forum that built one on a Caster racing chassis. Apparently the Mugen parts bolt right on. He needed different center CVD's because the caster chassis moves the center diff forward to make room for the batteries. It looked really good.
