For all of you who have not been there, NorCal Hobbies is an outstanding operation. Kevin & Eric are top notch & will pull togeather a great event. Make the trip you won't regret it.

Just wanted to post some links to the level we reach for for our big events. Here is some videos to show the level we take it for our offroad races. For the Nats its going to be one step further. Hope you like.

I would fly into Oakland but you might get a better deal flying into another airport.

here are the distances

Oakland 15.3 miles
San Francisco 25.5 miles
San Jose 23.3 miles

also look into Modesto, sacramento, Santa Rosa and Monterey all these airports are with 100 miles and sometimes you can score a real cheep ticket.

Here is some useful info we had up from the Reedy Race we just held about airports nearby and attractions

No Problem, I would recommend staying in the Union Landing Center, At night you can hit up movies, bunch or great restauraunts and bars, indoor sky diving not to mention S.F. is 30 miles away and Marriots Great America is 20 Miles away.

Found some good racing videos of some winter Layouts that we ran. Track wasnt in the best of conditions due to all the rain but the racing was great.

There's also a Motel 6 just a couple miles from the track and 1 minute away from Union Landing where all the places to eat are. $40 a night at Motel 6 is real nice. That's where I'll be staying. But like Kevin said, there is a very nice Holiday Inn even closer to that track and within walking distance to restaurants. Also, I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned it, but there is indoor pitting! Anybody who is into the 8th E scene, this is a can't miss event. The track will be groomed unlike any other track you have seen. It will be very smooth and high bite with nice flowing jumps. Get yourself signed up and ready guys, this will be a fun event

I want to pick up a 1:8e buggy and enter in this race (prob sportsman). I'm new to the 1:8e's though. What speed motor should I plan to run in a sportsman class? And what lipo for racing?

Need to place an order...
