Default Tool help for Associated RC8Be

Can anybody tell me what size hex wrenches and nut drivers I need to build an AE RC8e? Does the kit include a metal 17mm wrench for the tire nuts? Thanks, getting the kit soon and want to have all the right tools.

I suggest going staight to Associated's website and downloading the manual. It'll list what you need.

I did. It doens't list the sizes used. I would rather by the tools that I need instead of buying the AE tool sets it lists. That would cost me another $100 to buy those.

I used standard SAE hex tools on most of my RC8. Metric tools fit too loose in the hex and strip out too easy.

1/16, 3/32, 5/64

You'll still need metric for the setscrews. AE cars come with a real nice wheel wrench/glow plug tool.
