Default LRP vs Novak features

Hey Guys.

Ok i got a question for the LRP quantum users out there.

I have always been either a Tekin or Novak guy.

I like the "DEAD BAND" that the novak has, ie. when the trigger is first pulled, like the first 1mm or 2mm that the car doesn't move.

Does the lrp have this???? I have just got a GM V12 and if the wind blew on the trigger the car would be off and racin!!!

Anyways guy let me know, cos if the LRP works in this way i am sold, i will have to get one!!

The Novak GT7 has a profile that mimics the LRP Quantum exactly..

..plus 6 other profiles to help suit your driving style. One of the profiles is adjustable, allowing you to change 10 different parameters, including drive frequency and deadband.

Hey Aaron.

I have a GT7 aswell but it causes crazy interference no matter what i do. But i did buy it s/h here in australia.

As soon as i changed to my V12 the interference stopped.

Anyways thats beside the point, i do like the novak as it seems to suit my driving style right away with the first profile.

Aaron, any ideas as to why my GT7 is causing interference???? I really wanna sort it out if i can. A few people have said it could be the power cap, i am going to try that but it is a pain as no one here in south australia sells novak anymore.

Anyways thanks Guys.

Radio interference in an electric car could be a billion things.

Hit Novak up with an e-mail at [email protected] The Orange crew is really good about their customer service and should be able to help you troubleshoot the problem.

Hey Aaron.

Thanks dude, i just sent them an e-mail.

I really think it is something with this speedo. I am now using a GM V12 that i just swapped into the GT7's place and the interference has stopped and i changed nothing but the speedo itself. I am even using the same wiring as i was on the GT7.

Anyways hopefully we can get it sorted cos its a wicked speedo!

It probably is the ESC, and hopefully Novak can help you get it fixed.

Good luck!

I've seen 3 GT-7's burn up in front of me.. donno why.. in was in touring cars too.. the extra traction causes strain..

It's not the traction, but the fact that you're always punched!
