Default Castle Blower fan fins break off

Ive been using the Castle Creations blower on my 1800kv motor in my RC8e for the last 2 races. So far 3 blade fins have broken off. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a replacement fan besides the one you can get with the MMM case? Is the fan a 30mmx30mm?

I also broke one off of mine. Still doing the job, just a little louder. I did buy a 25mmx25mm fan from Muchmoore that I will replace it with, given I can get the old one out (It isnt bolted in, it is harmonic welded into the housing)

I've been wanting one of these. Ambient temps are so high here in Phoenix during the summer, I figured it would be added insurance against overheated motors.

Do you guys who have purchased them still recommend them? How are you powering them? I was thinking of using the Aux port on the RX.
