Default LOSI Strike Upgrade

Has anyone ever upgraded their Losi Strike with Traxxas 3500 Brushless motor set up? If so did the same gears fit from the factory Losi setup?

It will 'fit' and the stock gearing will also 'fit'. It may not be the fastest gearing for a 2s setup but it will work. I would actually suggest a sensored motor unless all you do is bash. If you race at all or plan on racing at all you will want to consider your purchase much further. Most tracks run a 17.5 or 13.5 stock class and then mod classes.. I wouldn't ever bother with anything faster than a 10.5 to be honest as it's just too fast for this type of vehicle out racing. If you bash then you can get the velineon or use it.. but I'd actually suggest the MMp w/ 4600 and that will set you up for great bashing now and the ability to swap to a sensored motor later if you want a little more control and start racing.
