Any short track racing in IL. Im new to the RC world and would like to put my LOSI Strike on a track.

I dont know anything about IL, but if you scroll down the main forum page, there is forums for specific states. That may be your best bet for finding a local track.

There's a few tracks in the Chicagoland area and north.

There's Leisure Hours in Joiliet, one place in Round Lake Beach, and another one called The Track at Harbor Hobbies in Wintrop Harbor, IL. There's a couple over in Rockford but I don't remember the store names. If you really want to take a trip, there's a place called S&N Trackside in Brookfield, WI.

I mainly race at The Track @ Harbor Hobbies on Friday night and weekends.

Joiliet is indoor clay with an outdoor track behind the biulding, I don't know anything else about LH in Joiliet as I have never been there.

Round Lake Beach is an outdoor track. This is located right next to a BMX park and is free to everyone all day long from sun rise to sun set. There's a hobby shop about 20 minutes from the track called Greyslake Hobbies in greyslake.

The Track @ Harbor Hobbies is an indoor carpet track only. On road track setup from Sat-Mon. Tues-Fri normally has ramps setup for indoor carpet racing. With the summer season here the off road track isn't setup until thursday because of the lack of interest.

Trackside in Brookfeild is a indoor clay track also with indoor on road track.

OutBack RC track in Marengo is the best one around.
Just 20-30 minutes up RT20 from you.
