Specs look pretty good on it. Digital Coreless as well. I'd say it's worth a shot on steering for sure. I don't think I would buy it for throttle/brake until it's proven itself though....too risky on Nitro for me. If it works on steering...then I'd have no problems moving it to throttle...but hey for $38....it's worth a shot IMHO

I have several of those servos. They are "ok". Torque is good, but they don't center very well. They're also quite heavy for a "coreless" servo, so I'm not too sure if the motor really is coreless. I haven't had one fail yet though, so they seem to work just fine. The main thing I don't like about them is their poor centering. When going pretty fast, you don't notice is much since the caster will center the wheels and servo pretty quickly, but when going really slow, the lack of centering is a bit annoying.

Someone had posted the same thread awhile back comments were good ,but but as mentioned the centering was an issue.

I went ahead and reluctanly bought a DS1013 and DS1015. Not looking back.
