check out hobbyking.com I have had great luck with their batteries, and they are cheap. The only downside to them is the shipping is real fast. you might also want to look at hobbypartz.com they sell Blue Lipos that are great, they are cheap and ship fast. The best packs i have run so far are the hyperion packs from allerc.com, they are a little more expensive but they seem to be indestructible, and they can be charge at a 5c rating. hope this helps

It's true that these Li-pos from hobbyking and hobbypartz and whatnot are cheap in terms of money, but they are also cheap in quality.

I'd recommend going with this: https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...&pn=SMC5450CM4 Believe me, it will be well worth the money. Not to mention it will also comply with ROAR's 4S Li-po rule.

I use pairs of 2S SMC 5200 in my FT RC8. Though about getting a 4S pack but since I also run 1/10, I get more use out of 2 2S.

Default 2 Orions....

I have been running 2, 2s Orion 5000's and have had sweet luck with it for months now. I have also ran the new venom 5000 14.8 pack with excellent results (balance every time)... but have similar run times and can pound out 15 minutes of straight racing with no problems...

... I am running the cc combo as well, but with the 1800kv motor instead of the 2200... so that will make a difference.

Fantom Racing batteries are the best by far. Don't waste your money on anything else. http://www.fantomracing.com/

I bought a Venom 5000/35c hard case lipo at my LHS last week for $99.

Running a RC8Be with Monster/Neu2200 and I had plenty of runtime for a 10min main and was one of the faster cars
