Any guides on programing ESCs Like the tuning bible
1st week of brushless.Any guides on programing ESCs Like the tuning bible. Just ran my MBX6 Tekno- MMM 2200 -5800/4s 30c Zippy flightmax-13t pinion "haven't tried the clutch yet" Running very technical indoor tracks.
There is plenty of power takes off fine, just doesn't seem to be much 10- 20% throttle control even at a good roll ,I keep under & overshooting in this area. Some guys helped me a bit. Have the castle link via laptop.Anybody want to send me their file of same setup to try and look over.

I'm still learning myself. Obviously, start out with the basic tab configuration. I run very low settings with my Vorza, such as low starting speed, 40% punch control, 0 timing, etc.
After than, play with the throttle curve. Maybe stick to using 2 points on the graph. Tune one point to lower the initial throttle input, then another higher in the graph to raise it. Play around, test.
Like you, I wish there were a database of sorts with files we could download. I guess it would be tough to maintain though, with all of the different types of cars/trucks, motors, esc, etc.

I don't think you can do a "tuning bible" for ESCs really. Too many proprietary options.
Gas is different, you have air, you have nitro, you have explosions.

LOL....Very True. Brushless is still very new in the RC world. Just play around with different setting and see what you like. Most ESC just have the standard setups. Unless you are using ones that are linked to computers for tuning. Then you will have way more options.

I just thought there be a little more comprehesive info on castle's websight or in the manual. X-rays guide on buggies gives the give and take on all your adjustments. I wish more manufactures had such great guides.

My ESC tuning Bible is:
Set it up at factory defaults, don't change, go out and learn how to drive it.
I don't know how many racers I have heard say I forgot to change my setup from the last race or last track.
If you don't keep changing it, no problem.
I realize they all have cute little gimmicks; but seldom do they help that much.
Sorry that is my opinion and I know I will get flamed but so be it.
