Converting my x2crt to brushless. Will be running a 5s lipo on a 2085 kv kershaw brushless motor. What pinion should I use? Im notracing som im looking for it to be ballistic. THanks please lmk asap!


P.S will a 2350kv brushless motor xl size work good on 5s?

12 tooth pinion and 48t spur? or 14 /48t?

I run a 2200Kv combo with a 5S lipo in my Ofna buggy.....geared 17/51 (similar to 16/48 on yours) at the moment which is good for 60 mph according to the radar gun. Stupid acceleration. Tires balloon like crazy.

Its too much for a track but I've got smaller pinions handy for when I do make it out to one.
And larger ones on the way to fulfill my quest for 70 mph.
