No go on the RC8.2e motor mounts from the RS and the FT. No go on the ST4 G3 motor mount. I'm going to borrow the RCM mount from my 801XT and order another RCM motor mount on Monday. I don't have the bits to hack up my chassis and I'd rather not. That's as far as I've gotten so I have no info on anything else. As I do with all of my buggies, I installed RC8 extended hexes on all for corners for a bit more stability and a leg up with handling. So far though, the kit has gone together very nicely. I learned from my mistakes assembling the 801XTso this one should be close to perfect upon completion.

How did you go with the RC8 extended hexes on the 801? Are they are good fit?

They fit just fine. The only issue is with the pins. Use the 801X pins. The RC8 pins are too large in diameter to fit into the 801X driveshaft. Since a set screw is installed into the outside opening of the drive shaft, there's 2 layers of security preventing the pin from coming out considering the safety ring that also prevents the pin from coming out.

I've finally gotten it together for the most part. I just need to put the finishing touches on it but I'm having the damndest time getting my 4PLS to ID the R2104GF. It binds but flashes green and says "No ID". HELP!!! lol
