He was asking about the RC8BE, not the RC8E.

What's the difference between the rc8e and the rc8be?

Aren't they both electric 1/8th buggies? Real question is... when will they offer a FT equivalent.

the RC8Be would the "FT" even though AE doesn't use the term "FT" with the 8th scale cars

as NV529 had posted it's pretty much the "Same Car"
but with every option on it already, like a "Factory Team" car type.
for example lower suspension mounts, towers,Hard Anodized shockes etc.
the RC8B is the Nitro Version, all that is really needed for the "Electric" conversion is the battey tray motor mount and the servo mount....
so would be like 20.00 for motor mount,7.00 for battery tray,6.00-8.00 for servo/radio box....

I ended up getting the FT kit and the electric conversion. Costs me a little bit more I'm sure, but I'll be ready to roll this weekend!

What other parts did you need besides the conversion kit?

Its defiantly the way to go if you want the best parts. Get the RC8B and convert it. That's what I did and I love it.

If you keep waiting then the RC8C will come out then you will have to wait on the RC8Ce to come out. Jump in already!
