I was just debating a couple of these for my RX8/1900kv Hyper 9E. They should fit the battery tray perfectly.

I only question whether I'll get enough runtime. I've already got one of the 35C 5000mAh Turnigy packs, which has been great.

Its not really forever - it might seem that way though.

I've done regular shipping on two orders and one time was 2 weeks and the other was 23days. I pay for EMS when I need it in a hurray.

as long as your not trying for 20 min mains.....15 might be close pending traction/driver but 4500 i would think would be on par....weight wise they are a bit heavier then i would like to see...but you have to account for the case i guess.....5000 30C soft cases are 510-515g.

Yeah, last year was something like 15 minutes with two mandatory "fuel" pit stops. Not sure what this year will bring with more people running electric 1/8 stuff...Either way, seems like a 4500 might be pushing it especially if I don't want to do a real deep discharge.

I'm debating just pulling the trigger on the Hyperion G3 VX 5000 4S pack. With the 5C charge rate I could probably get by with just one, plus my Turnigy as a spare. It just sucks that I could have 3 of these 4500's for the price of one Hyperion.

You could buy one or two for the heats and save your "good pack" for the main.

All I can say is WOW! I also saw that there were several other batteries that have been backordered that were back in stock as well.

Here's the ones that I bought:

they dont last long out of stock already

Unless your track is letting you run softpacks, the 4500's seem like the ticket to me. Even with softpacks I know there are some 4s 30c 5000's on hobbycity.com as well. I am not sure i'd spend all the cash on Hyperions just because you can charge them fast . . . just because you can do something doesn't mean you should . . .

It'll still take quite a charger to charge those at max rate as well . . .

i'd LOVE to see those 4500s with another 500+ mAh in them, until then i'll hang with the softies.
