Team Associated "sc44?" When will AE release the 4x4 SC, im tired of waiting for this truck. I cant wait until it comes out. Does anyone have any spy shots, info, or anything on it? Your responses are greatly appreciated!

+1 on can't wait for it. But no one knows if AE is even working on it. No spy shots, no confirmation of any testing, nothing but rumors that 'a guy said he knows a guy who talked to a guy who thinks he saw one being tested'. IF they are even in the early stages of testing, don't expect a production truck for at least a year, year and half. AE doesn't have a suitable platform to build one from right now. Ofna and Jammin got trucks out so fast because they already had platforms from the '1/12th scale truggy' vehicles (that never were really popular). AE can't just 'shrink the RC8'. They have to make all new molds from scratch for smaller diffs, lighter/shorter suspension arms, new gearboxes, etc. A SCt truck built off the B44 platform would be way too fragile. The B44 as it is, is too fragile for its class. Unless Thunder Tiger has an existing suitable platform to lift parts from, it's going to be a long wait, if AE even decides to jump on this bandwagon.

Seeing as there isn't any news of the sc44, shall we turn this into a "what should it be like when they do make it" thread?

My bothers girl friends little sisters mom knows a guy who heard from his boss who heard from his wifes brother in law that AE is working on a top secret project named 'Project keep them guessing' and what I heard was it's a new R/C brushless boat coming from AE.

I agree, but they might be able to use some of the components (like OFNA and Jammin) to build upon.

Default SC 10 4WD

I am waiting myself. Being the owner of two RC8T's, one RC8T CE, one RC8, and a former owner of a T4, I cant wait for the SC10 4WD. However with the lack of news of one in the works, I thinking about going Jammin.

Why keep it a secret? If Associated is or has a plan to build a 4x4 sc why would they avoid just coming out and saying something. If no plans exist then why not tell everyone that...... Stupid to just not say something....They know everyone is wondering

I'm sure all kinds of new SC stuff will pop up at RCX this weekend. Then the forums will flood with haters and others that can't wait for the release.
