What size pinion and spur would I use for a 13.5t and a 17.5 t brushless motor. I will probably be using LRP motors.

I just looked on LRP's website. They recomend a FDR of 8.0 for a 13.5 turn and a FDR of 7.0 for a 17.5 turn. That would mean I could use a 83/28 for a 13.5t and 83/32 for a 17.5 turn. Does that sound right?

Just found that Traxxas offers 76t spurs. I guess I could use those and decrease my pinion size abit. Help?!?

hey guys, i run a VXL in my slash and i was wondering if 83/24 will make my engine run hot? i ran a few packs in it before the engine broke the "2 second rule" but it runs so much smoother then the 90/23.
