Default Hyper 10 SC + 4s?

So I was planning on building up this kit using a mamba monster esc with the 2200kv motor and a 4s 5000mah pack.

Any suggestion to gear ratios i should use, or at least suggestions on what ratio to try?

I don't plan on racing it, but i do plan on running it on 1/8th scale nitro tracks which are local to me, as well as some dirt road bashing =P....

thanks for the help...

You should just keep it light and run a quality sensored esc w/ a novak hv on 2s. If you add alot of extra weight the truck will break more.

2S with a Novak HV... Don't need the MM system in this truck on 4S, it would be stupid fast and un-drivable. You want a 1/8th scale system with that much power buy a SC8e, it was meant to run on that setup.

Overkill! The 10SC was not designed for that kind of power.

Get a 1/8 electric buggy and have all the fun you want on 4S.

Its your money but doing what you mentioned would be like buying a Lotus Elise, putting a super charged Viper motor in it and running it on dirt roads.

nailed it.

Stick to 10th scale electronics, maybe 3S, but it's completely unnecessary to run anything beyond that.

Anything in the 1900-2200 is perfect for a buggy on 4s.

Disturbing The Peaces SC8e with the same MM set-up you want on 4S. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ent=SC8030.flv

He has it for sale as a roller or with the motor. PM him over at RCSC.com

Beadlock also just picked up a SC8 from the sounds of it, he couldn't be happier.

Nitrohouse.com has the SC8e for $320.00 won't find it cheaper - http://www.nitrohouse.com/catalog/pr...ducts_id=20851

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Skid-Plate-RC8

Im assuming front and rear are the same?

For the shock kit, would i want the 32mm in both the front and rear, over the 29mm front and 32mm stock?
