Default RC8e motor problem

I am having trouble getting the castle 2650kv motor to fit in the rc8. it rubs on the chassis hard when trying to slide it over to line up the gear mesh. anyone else have this problem?

Take the 4 screws out of the diff mount and motor mount from the chassis, leave your top plate on so that it holds the center diff unit together. Then install your motor with the pinion get your mesh correct and set, Finally re-install the diff mount and motor mount with the 2650 installed on to the chassis.

Put 1mm washers under the center diff and you won't have any problems. This is a known problem and this solution has not had any complaints. Make sure you use loc-tite when re-installing.
