Default Futaba 4PK Li-Fe Pack?

Does Hobby King / Hobby City offer a Li-Fe pack for the 4PK? I've seen Lipos, but I've read that you gotta keep voltage below 6.6v. I can't seem to find a 6.6V 2100 Li-Fe on their site.

You can use a LiFe battery for this application, however I'm not sure
on 4pK's on how much space you have for batteries. There aren't many
small Life battery packs that you can buy, but you will have to make your
own batteries, in which you would buy a DeWalt battery drill pack. You will
want the 36v pack, theres one other smaller one that also has Life batteries,
the rest do not. the 36V gives you 10 cells to deal with, 3.3v per cell so you
shall need a 2S LiFe, you will need to buy a balance lead that fits your charger

The Trinity pack works awesome. Its life and most guys have been getting between 8-12 hours on a single charge. I also see that A Main hobbies has one under the Pro-tec name. Havent heard of any experience with it though.

sorry but ebay for electronics is a no no

But when you get one, do be-sure to balance it EVERY time the first 25 cycles
The first 15 cycles should be charged and discharged using the charger
then you don't have to balance them all the time as they learn how themselves over time

really this will kill lipo's in the future

only flaw in a Life is if it gets punctured, that cell goes bad, but safe

If it isn't "a123" life the amount of power isn't good

Thank you, but at $13/each * (2) = $26 + $10 S&H = $36, I'd rather get a pre-made pack. Thank you for the help, though! I appreciate it.

I just picked up one of the Intellect packs from the eBay store. Basically, all of the listings are for the same souce, which is direct from Hong Kong, and will take about 3 weeks to arrive.

One of the other racers in my club got one for his 4PK a while back, and has been very happy with it, so I went ahead and got one for me.

It's worth spending the $30 in my opinion....
