Default SC10 setup question

Alright I am getting my new sc10 tomorrow and racing it on Saturday. I am running the stock sc class. The track is tight and smooth and it is med to high bite. Looking for some setups. I have some ideas but I think this truck will be way different than my slash. Thanks in advance.

I just switch from a Slash to the SC10. I run Stock SCT with a Novak SS17.5 Pro. The set-ups on RC10.com are great. I used them and my first race was like night and day. More traction and better handling gave me much improved lap times.

Are you allowed to change springs or anything else, I got a set-up from my SC10 but needs different springs... Kevin

If your talking about Thundervalley I'd say its med. traction. Go with the Anderson setup on AEs website but I suggest J Concepts Goosebumps. Don't overgear the 17.5 because that track is pretty tight. Probably a 75/25 or 26. 30 degree front blocks will help with the cornering.

like the post above said, rc10.com has good ones. i use the base setup but have changed to 55wt in the rear, 40 in the front with stock springs and use 100wt diff oil. i have gone down to 40-45 wt in the rear and ran the gold springs but only when it is really cold. the best changes to the truck are camber and shock oil. when you get it, try to get the rear shocks lined up. they tilt a little and dont line up unless you shim them at the arm and removed the nut on the standoff. it helped alot with weight transfer out of corners.
