Did I make the correct decision on Motor?
My setup
Losi XXX-CR
JR 8450 Steering
Tekin RS Pro
So the last thing I was having issue with was the Motor. I looked around for an LRP because I heard road guys saying that was the hot setup with the RS Pro. I looked for a Redline just to stay within the same line to hope for no compatibility issues. And finally found a Novak Ballistic which I was told was very reliable and would be without issue. It just was not my first or second choice so now I'm a little nervous. Is there any reason to be or will I be fine?

You will get folks that say you must have brand x motors od die.IMO most of the modern generation brushless motors are all very compeatitve and you should be great with a Novak. The cool thing too about the Novak is that you can change the windings by getting a new stator so its like having a few motors in one.

I have a couple Ballistics, and there are a bunch at the track. They all run great.
not home, do you ever say anything constructive at all?

I think he is saying that either novak has a problem with reliability or he has a problem with reliability. I have only see one go out, and that was a bearing that seized in the endbell from lack of maintenance.
I have seen people that just ran orion motors or LRP motors start to switch because instead of having to buy a new motor(~$100), you can spend $30 to jump up a class.

Here is a challenge:
Do a complete forum search here, on R/C Tech, for "Ballistic" and read various customer comments about our motor. Other than "not home", most Ballistic feedback on the motor is positive.
I review incoming service reports for this motor and have seen very few incidences oif warranty issues. Our QC procedures for BL motor testing are extremely stringent; we do all of our manufacturing here in Irvine.
I have made many efforts to assist "not home" on various forum threads, to no avail; he just keeps repeating the same baseless assertion (opinion) with no substantiation.
Any forum member with questions or problems with Novak products, or service, can PM me at any time for help, or contact Novak directly. For many years, I have participated here to make the resources of Novak available for customer assistance.
