Default I feel like a freakin' Vintage collector! Help me out...

Hey guys today my sis's boyfriend came over and he brought his old rc car. He wanted me to help him out, cuz he needed a Tamiya plug to put on his esc... which is like a futaba older esc... "MC210CB" but anyways, he said you can have it dude It just sits in a box for most of its life... AWESOME! I think Its a JRX2 or a JRXT. Anyways it was poorly maintained, and very mickey moused. the servo was hotglued down, the shocks were empty, the pinion was glued to the motor, I can't go on. He says he bought it from some guy who totally neglected its maintenance, yet he did too but not as much. what I needed help was can youguys tell me something about this ESC? I'm not familiar with it.

Its a Futaba MC 210CB F/R ESC. Can you tell me like the motor limit, value, etc? thanks guys... PS I'll post a pic in like 10 minutes.

Man, that speedo brings back some memories. Do not run anything more then a stock motor on it. While it's a big ass fuse in there, the internals wouldn't handle anything big motor wise. Value wise, I hate to say this but next to nothing. It was included with a lot of the older Futaba Sports and Magnum Jr's back in the day.

Looking at the shock tower up front I think it's a JR-XT. If you could get a shot at a higher angle I might be able to tell better. Both the JR-X2 and the XT used the 5 link rear ends.

it kinda looks like a jrx pro that was converted...tranny looks pretty big like the jrx pro...was there a truck that was made with the same tranny...or was the lxt losi's first truck? but that suspension brings back some memories...let me know if you wanna sell it

The JR-XT was the first truck produced by losi, followed by the LXt, XXT, and now the XXXT. Both the XT and the X2 used the "LRM" (low rotating mass...yeah, 6-gears, lrm..uh-huh) transmission.

Having trouble getting the file to download, sorry !!www.futaba.com
The manual and specs are available at the website. The spec sheet can be found by going under radio accessories, then esc's, then a list of "older esc's" is available. Just scroll down till you see the mc210. There is a "manuals" section available and a pdf file for the mc210. Hope that helps

The shock tower was busted, so I threw on a LXT Shock tower. the front bulkhead is the exact same, so it fit perfectly. Plus it was way thicker and had more shock positions. Thanks for the speedo info, It has a stock motor in it so I'll just leave it. This thing is SO fun! I mean it was a wreck when I got it, but I had so much fun fixing it up... I'm goin out to the desert for new years, so I'll talk to youguys on friday. Bringin' both of 'em!

PS no its not for sale. Sorry!

Oh yeah! What luck? I just happened to have the stock body for it! I never had the car for it, just the body. Now I'm set! Just the body is beat to crap... blue, and lighter blue specks. flatbed... WOW Jeepinator's looks soo much better than mine...

hummmm, the hobbyshop I use to work for had those esc in the back warehouse in a plastic bin. From what I remember, I think the limit on those esc are 19 turn modified.

Actually, the spec sheet say's 18 turn. Although I don't think I'd really push an old esc like that.
