Any problems with the diff?
Mine was missing a bearing for the inner part and I used one from my TC5. It seemed to work at first then it was like I had no diff at all. I removed the one Bering so the rings would rub the diff balls.
I think the male part of the one out drive may be to long .

I am running the 3 gear tranny and my car has a little push to it. I have only got to try 1 set of tires so far. Ill have more wheels tonight to mount tires on so I will have to see if that helps. I only got to put 4 batteries through it last night but it was a lot of fun

On my B4, I always ran a 81t spur with a 23t pinion with an 8.5 motor. Now I have a 7.5, so do you think with the 23t pinion, the 87t spur will be a good match?

Just stayed up all night building the roller. I was missing all of the screws that mount the rear brace to chassis. Oh well I have extras. Also some very tight tolerances: Idler shaft, front steering brace block, and even the shock shafts where the spacer goes on before the piston. Nothing a little sanding, polish and time didn't fix. I did strip out the heads on a few cheap screws to. And Yes, I do have EDS drivers.
A great Diff, had 0 problems assembling that. The car is so smooth, I cant wait to hear only the tiny thumps of the tires on the clay. . I should have it ready for Leisure Hours this Saturday!! Just missing a transponder. Oh well.

Wow, really? You must have the wrong tires or something? The first thing I noticed with this car is how much steering it had without breaking the rear end loose.

I used the 1.3s and 1.2s right out of the book. I forget which went in front and which went in the rear... and not sure which has the larger holes. I assume the 1.3 are larger, but im not sure... Either way, the smaller holes should be in back, with lighter oil than the front. But all of my previous thinking might go out the window with the RM4 setup.
I have ALL DAY saturday to test, should be fun.

I have 1.3's front, 1.2's back. 35wt front 30wt rear. 30wt rear felt fine the other night at the track but probably will try 27.5 this weekend.
