The way the 3/4 gearbox is designed is so simple that it's one of those "why didn't I think of that" items. There are so many neat things in the design of this car that I just don't see buggies looking any different 25 years from now which may ultimately cause this class to get stagnant 4 or 5 years from now. We'll see.

Hopefully Short Bus will produce better racers that want to move into a REAL class.

Ahhh yes... fredswain... the walking contradiction. Gives people a hard time for inquiring about the length of the car, then comes in with pesamistic crap like this. Glad you're here

TEAMDURANGO.... where our buggies at? We're dying here !

What was so pessimistic about it? It's a compliment to the car. It has so many features built into it that it is going to be hard to top it. Only an idiot would find that offensive. People also get bored quickly which means if it isn't new and improved they move on to something else. I've stayed in buggies for 25 years.

People are not bored of the B4 which is pretty much the same as its always been for 10-11 years. Many of the best tires for 2wd off road are older than that. Despite these things the class has been one of the most steady in RC since the very beginning.

The class has been buoyed by introductions of new chassis designs, most notably the TLR 22. This thing sure is neat but is much more of a niche vehicle which I think Durango is happy with. They're occupying the spot I would have expected a brand like X-ray to go after.
