I bought an assembled, never run DEX210V1 from a fellow RCTech member some time ago, and am just now getting around to throwing electronics in it. I have a B5M on the way, so I plan to set this up as my mid-motor stock car. The problem I'm encountering is that the previous owner apparently forgot to throw in a few small MM-specific parts. Can anyone tell me the specific parts or parts tree needed to get these bits? I think I'm squared away on internal transmission parts. Thanks!

The brace and supports in TD320127 and the bumper in TD320121.

My brand new DEX210v2 should be here later today from Tower Hobbies! Pretty excited for a new kit build!

I will also have a really great condition MM DEX210 with the +11 chassis for sale soon. PM me for details! I'll post in SoCal RC Market when I get it ready. Just wanted to give the forum guys a heads up.

Our outdoor dirt track is closing for good this weekend and the indoor carpet track is going to get back into "offroad" racing. While I do prefer dirt, sometimes you've just got to take what you can get. I'm tempted to go back to the original 210 short chassis. I know I can run MM3 there. We'll be on rubber slicks with traction compound so this is going to be interesting. A 10.5T motor in blinky mode is about as fast as the craziest people would ever want to go. 13.5T might be prefect. Time to re-setup the car again. At least I can go back to the original non cab forward body!

I'm jealous you have indoor carpet. I'm tempted to build one here in LA! I do like dirt but I also like to have different surfaces to test my metal on.

I think the squeak was from a rear axle outer bearing and I've replaced both. Seems better now, but the darn buggy has eaten my new RW Racing 75T spur gear and ruined the slipper pads. Ordered replacement parts but now have to wait two weeks for delivery.

Has anyone tried hardening their outdrives? I chewed through a set pretty quick (3 months of very light use) and one of the guys at the track mentioned using a blowtorch and a bucket of water to harden them.

I'm building up my brand new DEX210v2 as we speak. I loved my v1 so much I got a new one. I did look at the B5M quite a bit and it looks great. I think associated did a great job. However I think Durango did a lot of the work first and there are quite a few differences that I enjoy. I haven't built the B5M nor have I driven one yet...so I can't REALLY compare. I SEE TONS of them at OCRC though. EVERYONE is curious about my cars. It's kinda funny.

I also really love my DEX410, although I kinda wish I could easily switch it to a shorty setup for stock racing. It's a really minor gripe. I love sharing parts between the cars. I run a gear diff in my 210 as well as the 410....

Let us know if we can help you get dialed. I really like running the car with the shorty down the center and ESC in front of the battery. Shorty all the way back.

Can I get a few aftermarket body recommendations for the DEX210v2? I loved my finnisher body on the V1 but the new side pods don't work....I don't mind the stock body, but I would like something like my finnisher if possible.

Thanks!

That sounds about right.

As for bodies, durango makes 2 options and I think that's it somebody needs to get JRo to have one made
