I'm really stuck now because in changing out the gear box (TD310459) I realize that the sway bar mount is higher then the stock gear box. Now the brace (TD320121-1) isn't able to work because it too has sway bar mount when before the original gear box fit under the brace. Do I have the wrong gear box?

I bought a couple of sets of the older
Ball cups and used those ball
Ends on my shocks and none have failed yet. Also do not over tighten. The new turnbuckle plastic is much more susceptible
To stripping out. I thread until one thread is still
Showing.

After driving for over a year, my son finally broke a gear box. After ordering the Type B box and tearing it down I noticed my sons chassis is slightly bent in the back. With all the braces should I worry about this much? I'm thinking with the brace that holds the rear body mount will pull it back into shape. I don't want to spend much more money for a new one since converting to a V2 is not reasonable in price. My son is getting better and should be running stock 17.5 soon and having to buy a chassis is dumb but if I did have to which one? RTR +8, aftermarket aluminum or V2

can some of the peeps using the dex410 high wing mount mod please post some pics? I wanna see how it came out. I bought some extra mounts so I can try it. I'm also using the lowered tresrey CF rear shock tower...I'll post pics when I'm done as well

I'm also running the +11 from RDRP. Seems much more stable than the previous shorter chassis.
Not really you can just cut the plastic on the brace out around the gearbox, works fine but you cant go back to the old gearbox is all

What is the weight compaired to stock? Once Surf City is over I will be moving to Mog Buggy and Mod SC. Need to put all the weight back in I took out when I built my all plastic car lol... Its at 1498 right now body and electronics. Plan on putting the 15gram weight under the servo to keep the nose down.

Anyone running 12mm hexes? Which ones did you use and did you have to shim between them and the bearing to keep it from falling out?
