those molded diff gears are awesome, had them in my 210 with the lightweight outdrives for a super light diff for 17.5 at Motorama. I also have them in the 410 with the UJ's and it makes for much lower motor/esc temps. They're simply awesome, and reliability is no issue (I've heard of no issues yet, some team guys have had them for a year now)

Idler gear pi modification!
Hi all,
I have done a modification on my idler gear pins, that i would like to share with you!
As i had that kind of mod in my SC10 and also in my SC10 4x4, witch Associated sells as FT parts, i made some of these pins out of an 5mm aluminum rod, i bought in a garden centre for ~1$ per meter.
I had to sand the outer diameter a bit, so the bearings go easy over the shaft, but it was not a big deal and below i would like to show you the weight reduction against the steel shaft!

Sorry, i just can upload 1 image per post with my ipad!
Hopefully someone out there can help me with this question but I'm looking at trying to run b4 style rear wheels on my car but the stock rear plastic hubs are too tall and rub severely on the inside of the wheel. The car already has the front axles to run b4 wheels so I'm good there but was wondering if I were to use the Exotek rear hubs and or Team Durango aluminum rear hubs where the ball stud mounts straight out the top allows for extra clearance for the slightly smaller wheel that the b4 wheels are or not. Thanks

I'm going to be putting my Cream carbon fiber front tower (mounts anodized black) and STRC carbon rear tower soon, thought I'd give first dibs to those here. $50us shipped for the pair.

Can anyone point me in the direction for a MM4 clay setup. My track tends to run golds/MC compound tires. I've got my sons RM dialed but the mid just isn't feeling right but I could be in left field on the setup as the only ones on line are for astro turf.

Scroll down past the astro setups there is the clay setups. There are MM4 from Lutz, Born, and a few more for clay.

Anyone know what material TD603003 are made of?
Built my DEX210V2 kit the past few days and drove it yesterday. One word-planted. Well, three words-stable, predictable and planted. The new front arms, shock tower and shock length are a winner. Went with my previous 210 set up, added some more titanium and plastic versus aluminum to further lighten it for 17.5 class. The transmission is much easier to put in/take out, rear shock tower is beefier, rear arms allow for front and rear shock mounting etc. Great buggy.
Hey guys are stock springs what you recommend for dirt outdoor track hard but loose? Also does anyone use shock dust boots?

Has anyone tried the regular 1 inch wide front wheels on clay,or our most people staying with the skinny tire?
I always use the shock boots. Makes the shock last longer. And I prefer to use the gold or tit-nitrate shafts. Once they start to fade you know its time to replace them. The stock silver ones its hard to see when they are worn. So far I raced a whole season with the boots and the shafts are still fine.

Stock motor problem
Im running a 17.5 with 30 t pin and 75 spur, mid mount 4 gear
am getting temps at 80 degC, running it for 5 mins on road.
It is stuttering from a standing start, LRP X12, horizontal timing slot.
Any suggestions to keep it cool and why is it stuttering?
