I'm running 69/34. Worked great on a medium to small indoor track with a tight layout, but I was a little behind on a larger outdoor track. Nismomike was running 69/35 with great success at the same outdoor track. We raced in the evening. I barely broke 100 degrees with 69/34 so I could probably go up a tooth.
If you are saying I would be impressed with the lighter weight, are you talking carbon? Which one? If it's Tresrey, I can't do it. They treated me wrong, so I don't purchase their products.

then to me its worth trying the 8mm plastic chassis as well i did that on my mod buggy as i have the carbon 8mm from 8 racing on my stock and could never get my mod to handle as well as the longer chassis
brought the $34 8mm longer chassis and it changed the buggy big time much more comfortable with the longer chassis IMO

8racing and Atomic carbon make carbon chassis. Tresrey-USA import the 8racing ones to america and Atomic carbon is located in the UK. While you still would be supporting Tresrey-USA, I buy my tresrey/8racing stuff off http://www.tsrproducts.com, their shipping costs are better.

TD has a good explaination on their site http://www.team-durango.com/in-the-p...rticle_id=4472
As 8ight-e said, suspension holders and rear towers are the weak spots if you have hard crashes. You can find a list of option parts here (a website I am making) http://durangofansite.com/DEX210aftermarket.html

yeah, some team drivers were running 12mm hexes at the reedy race. I was wondering the same thing. I am sure many would liek to run the more common 12mm wheels if they could.

Does anyone know where to get the steering knuckle bushing set,
TDR340004? Amain just changed the expected date to March 6.
Alternatively, does anyone have a possible substitution?

What is needed to do the 12mm conversion. My son runs a b4.2 and it would be a lot easier to have on style of wheel for both.
