Durango DEX210 Thread

That must have been it, I was looking international. Thank you
Hey, on a side note. What spur gears do you all keep in around when you race and pinions? How about the type of pinion I need because I'm not sure if the ones I have now will work?

Also, is there a quicker way to get the gearbox out when in rear motor config?
I had the circlip pop out of the diff (fixed out, I didnt double check to make sure it was in properly) when I was breaking it in and the only way I could get the gear box out was to undo pretty much the whole back end.
Other than that though, the buggy seems pretty good.

It's not the fastest but once you do it a few times you'll get it in and out in about 3-5 minutes.

48p gears on the 210. Spur gear depends on your motor, but for mod if you have an 81 and 83 handy you should be set. Pinions in the 21-25 range will get you going if running in the 7.5-10.5 range. For blinky 17.5 we ran 75/36 with good speed and overall power.

Here is what the inside of the car looks like. I hate to cut my motor wires because I hate soldering. Battery wires not so much of a problem. This speed control will probably go into either the DEST210, or a DEX410. Havent made up my mind which to get next.

Thank you for all your info today. I'm very sorry for all these noob questions right now. My motor(s) right now range from 10-13 so I'll pick up a few pinions to accommodate that.
OK so here goes the really noob question, what does blinky mean? Sry man.

Blinky is the term for the no-timing setting on an esc. Older esc's like the novak gtb do not have any timing capability, but when Tekin came out with the RS it changed everything. To help with rules enforcement Tekin created a mode on the esc where it "blinks" when it is in no timing mode, and now most others have followed suit.

Cool looks like that DE10 will work

Also, I'm guessing all my Slash pinion gears will work too since they are 48p correct?

Can I get some help on what batteries folks are running? I searched this thread and read about "shorties?"
I have some GensAce 5000mAh 40c batteries I use in my SCT, will these be good? Maybe something smaller/lighter? I like GensAce batteries but not married to them.

They were introduced cos the losi 22 had a mid motor option which needed shorter batteries. So the length is 96mm rest of the dimensions are same as ur gens ace. Its just got a bit less capacity. I have tried the promatch 50 $ shorties and the protek 70C shorty. Of course the protek has awesome punch but the promatch are not bad for the price.
Getting a shipment from china for the nanotech shorties. Will let you know how they hold against amains offering.
You can use the gens ace you got it just made the car lazier since this has a lot of weight in the back. With a shorty you can place weight up front which really makes it a different beast. Almost as nimble as a AE/Kyosho buggy but super planted still.
