good eye, that also allows you to keep the existing ears on the gear box. I hate to be a weight freak though, but it is adding more weight to the rear...

What are the most popular springs everyone is switching to? I have a good amount of readily available Losi 22 springs at my LHS but I am also about to place an order for some spares so Durango springs are an option as well. I am running a full size battery, no shorty. Our track also has some pretty large jumps, but I can tune that with oil if need be. Also, what does everyone think of switching to 4 hole pistons instead of the stock 6 holes. I see quite a few people doing that on setup sheets.

Most guys are modding the stock 6 hole by plugging two of the holes with epoxy or using toothpicks,etc.

Why 22 springs? Do they offer better spring rates or just better springs? I have the Durango springs in two levels softer and on level stiffer than stock.

Readily available..... Majority of the Durango springs are on b/o so if you just bought a car and need something to tune with, most track shops have Losi 22 springs in stock. You can also use Kyosho big bore springs, just dont know which ones.

FYI, the stock Durango Dk Blue front springs are listed as the same rate as the Losi Greens and the Durango Lt Red is almost identical the the Losi Yellow.

Does anyone have a good setup for carpet.

I'm new to r/c and have no idea what to change in terms of camber, shocks, and all those things...
