They are a tight fit. Just press it on and the piston and screw will seat it when tightening..

The shims that go on the shaft are tight. I started mine and put the pistons on, then started to screw them in and the piston pushed it down just fine. It is a tight fit for sure.

Hey guys help me out with a setup. I am running the box stock setup and the buggy was pretty decent. Would like a little more turning to it as the buggy wanted to push a little bit. I am running stock pistons, springs, with 27.5 oil in front, 25 oil in rear. I just want to work on the shocks right now as I could tell they were too soft. What are you guys running for springs and oil, pistons? I can tell for sure it needs stiffer springs.

DEX210 domination at the houston toys for tots event!! i will do a race report this afternoon and i have a video i am about to DL in a few hours. but my 210 was DOMINANT!! i took Tq by a lap and had the quckest lap time by almost 2 seconds!! Chris jones' qualified second with his and actually ended up with the win (more on that later....). when i post the vid you will notice that it is a big track with some monster triples, i was the only one that could clear them consistantly (pistons baby, pistons). only failure the entire day was Chris broke a rear shock tower trying to clear the triples, no failures on my car!

Larry rollins did not get 9 laps, one of his laps was 5.4 seconds....

hard to see but my fast lap was 34.0?? i dont think anyone else even got into the 36's!!

I am running the front 35 - 1.3x4 hole pistons, with the stock springs
rear 30 - 1.2x6 hole pistons, with the stock springs. The shocks feel great, my car has a little on power push, but it's manageable and our track is extremely tight. My car out of the box handled like the box it came in, my build set-up was, well, off. We first tried pushing the front axles from full trailing to inline, and the car had steering, but was on crack twitchy, but still had an on power push, and when you only have a 5 foot lane it was not ideal. Next we raised the roll center front and rear, and it started coming around much better, and finally went to the above mentioned shock settings, and its really easy to drive, and I actually put the front hubs back to full trailing, and its much smoother.. I can work up a set-up sheet if anyone would like, pm me an email addy

Well four races in and no broken parts. Heck I had some nasty tumbles and did not even pop a ballcup last race. The only issue is a messed up outdrive. Its only one side and even after flipping it the same outdrive has just hogged out. Its not like our track has massive traction and I'm not landing off any jumps with the throttle pegged.

Patiently waiting for the spare parts shipment.

Oh yeah, BEST DIFF EVER!

ok so i am checking out in the mains and then my car stops, for some reason my radio went dead, sucks because i would have had a double win as i also won the A main in SC..... so now for my excuses, it was very cold and it always takes me a lap or two to get used to the car since its soooo much different than 4wd SC! oh and the barometric pressure was out of my normal range so my eyes were blurry

Does anybody have any idea when Durango is going to release differential outdrive spare parts? Mine have really started to gouge, and will soon be undriveable.... I don't want to have to wire up the B4 while I wait for outdrives. ugh. I only got about 5 race days on them and have about a 1mm gouge already.
