When those inserts get loose its from the frontal impact the buggy takes making the screw hole more like a slot. I use longer screws that go all the way through, you could probably use a nut on the inside if needed as well.

The hole in the side pod would be worn out. I would replace it and use a 12mm screw instead of the 10mm one, the screw bites into a bit more material and prevents this issue.

For those who race stock indoors on carpet, racing is close and motors get hot, im hoping this will allow me to run another pinion gear or 2 and gain an advantage, enjoy

Hello all! does anyone have an extra set of Tresrey 14mm clamping hexes they would be willing to sell me? I can't find them anywhere….need a second set to complete my 410.

Thank you so much! I have many parts I would be willing to trade so let me know what you need. I can do cash, paypal etc.

I'm going to be ordering material this week, and was wondering if there was any interest here. If so I'll order extra and make more!!!
The battery plate in the pics is FRP, but the production version will be carbon fiber. I dont have a final weight yet, but according to the solidworks simulation deal it should be pretty close to the car built with the dimec chassis.
Can be set up to run mid motor or rear motor, with all battery configs.
Here are some pics
Ordered up all the 7075 aluminum and carbon fiber, should have some kits ready in about a week, if anyone is interested pm me for details!

Has anyone ran the tresrey top shaft and slipper to allow us to run associated spurs?

I'm only interested in trying that chassis if it's a +8 and the carbon pieces that bolt on are the same shape as the original side pods.

No, but that's on my list so I can get a 69t that will fit under the cover, machined ones center section is a little thick.
Lol you have to get a AE spur to fit under Durango's cover.

I've ran the 69t machined RW spur and it works well, I've got a collection of there spurs with no issues to date (69, 75, 81 I think)

Those unfortunately are not being distributed in the US any longer or I would run their 69

My issue with durango at this point is the parts support. This is why I was asking about that part, cause associated parts are easier to come by.
