Looking to get a 2wd buggy and meaning towards the Durango... but the kit seems to be out of stock at most places. Local track can't order any... does that mean a new kit is on its way?
It would be my luck to find it somewhere and read about the new version that's coming out

Nothing official has been announced but it's no secret that the v2's are on the way. Are you willing to pay $300 vs the $150 or so now?

If you're willing to buy used, I'd suggest looking at flame56mx's rollers that he was for sale. I bought a ST from him and would gladly recommend him.

Than for the info shagino. What would you speculate the changes to be? What if any short comings are there to be fixed or refined?
I actually would drop $300 vs the $150 that it sounds like kits are going for if there are decent improvements.

Sounds like its all just going to be speculation, but your educated guess is valuable to me... thanx.
I will take a peak at flame's roller, might be cheap enough not to pass up

OK, flames price was too good to pass up. I'll drive that till the V2 comes out, if its all that and a bag of chips I'll sell the V1.

The things that need to be upgraded on the 210 were things I was going to change anyways with a couple of exceptions. One is the steering rack. Get rid of it. I use the Exotek. It's good looking too! New ball cups and studs are apparently coming out which is nice. I however use Losi 22 ball studs and ball cups and Lunsford Punisher turnbuckles on all of my cars. That is my reference standard. Many people are excited about the LRC rear blocks. I intend to use those from Exotek as well. They are aluminum and are just plain stronger. The new gearbox case is stronger and offers an extra camber link hole. I intend to use it when it becomes available. I will probably also upgrade to the outer hubs which allow for vertical ball studs just for the added options. Those are my picks.

The biggest change should be the new Type B rear of the car allowing better access to the transmission. The new type B transmission case has 2 holes as well. Not sure about the chassis but my guess is a +8 aluminum version. The new ball cups and studs are currently available and the new "B" stuff is soon available to upgrade your current ride.

I broke the kick up on my one piece chassis. So I ordered a new one online, got it in and swapped all my parts over. When I did so, I noticed a few things.
1, I ordered the B style chassis. Evidently, my parts are not the new B style.
2, The front bulkhead did not sit flush with the bottom of the chassis. The chassis is sitting the thickness of the chassis below the bulkhead. New B style front bulkhead?
3, The rear of the B style chassis does not have the cut out for the rear motor guard. Two options? Dremel the chassis to fit, or is there a new B style motor guard?

Other than that, installing the new Diggity Design shock towers, steering drag link and RDRC shock stand offs went as planned. Just need some pillow balls for the shock caps...

Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers.
Jeff
Do Not dremel the chassis. .if you do you'll end up with another broken chassis. .just buy the new B pivot set and the B motor guard. .and race on..

What's a good starting point for 17.5 blinky gearing? Should have the buggy early next week and racing it on Wednesday, can't wait! (thanx for the great deal flame56mx)

Suggested gear diff oil for med-high bite indoor?

Thanx.

The gear diff I sent has 7k in it, and it was really good for blinky. Depending on the motor your using I would be somewhere in the 69/30---72/31---75/32 area. My car liked a 72/30 for the infield, and our straight isn't all the long, on med/high wet clay.

Does anyone know what wing bushings will work on the DEX210. I need some. The clips don't hold it tight.

Put a extra layer of lexan between the wing and the clip.
