Durango DEX210 Thread
Just bought a used one to complement my Desc. What is a ballpark setup for a loose track with big moto cross style jumps?
It came with indoor tires, the stock rtr tires do well here, what pattern are those close to?

will a losi 22 gear diff work in the DX210?

doubt it, its 1 tooth smaller then the AE that is 1 tooth smaller then the durango, which already has had issue, so I'm going to say no, you'll strip the diff/idler gears

Question. Is it me or does this cars tranny seem quite loud compared to other cars. Just wondering. Cause there is three 210's at our track and they are all quite a bit louder than others

I put 4 or 5 dabs of white lithium grease on the tranny gears and that helps a lot on the noise

Yep, especially if your running 4 gear....my truck running rm3 is pretty quiet, but my buggy running mm4 is considerably louder....

Loving this car so far. I cracked a ball cup at practice, but thankfully someone
at the track had a spare. I was one lap slower with the buggy than I was with my 4wd Corr truck. Someone told me that's because the track we ran on was more Corr Truck friendly. I probably wont run buggy there again, because I
had alot of trouble making the tabletop, and it wasnt my speed I had plenty of speed. Buggies have alot of trouble at this track I wasnt the only one having problems. Basically there's nothing wrong with this car. I was just running the
wrong car for the kinda conditions. But running buggy every once in a while will
help improve my driving. What I have decided to do is wait and run buggy when
the outdoor track opens. They have said they are going to make it friendly for buggies. And they have in the past. I'll just have to wait til April 2014 before I'll run this buggy again.

Does anyone know what pistons come in the RTR shocks? I just picked up a set of BB's on ebay for my DEX410 and I'll need to order 2 and 3 hole pistons unless thats whats in them.

I have a few weeks under my belt in "blinky" and my car is getting pretty good. One of my main goals was to run it as light as I could, (have it at 1570g in race trim) so I am using a Dimec Type "B" chassis, and small bore shocks from a Dex410"R". I had a set of RDRP rf/rr aluminum pivot blocks, but they are designed for the original Dimec chassis, and had to be massaged a bit to fit on the new "B" chassis. The chassis had to be shaved ever so slightly on the outer edges where the RR block fits..

Looks like I'll be going to motorama running stock 2wd. It will be my first time running 17.5 and will be using a killshot with the high torque rotor. What kind of gearing/timing should I start at? I have a 75t spur, have a couple 69t's on order, and ordered 27-35t pinions (already have 20-26) is that a little over kill?
