I just double-checked my email to make sure it didn't say backordered either. I ordered one on Friday as well and got an email this morning that said mine will ship on 10/11. Smokin deal for 140.00.

I asked rcplanet when they will get back in stock and got this reply "Hello,

what do you guys think? Do you think the kits will be back in stock?

im just wondering if i should get the rtr instead now since it also is on sale... kind of stupid to wait for the kit to arrive if it doesnt come.

I wouldn't wait. I live here in UT and speak with the hobby shop (Canyon Hobbies) that essentially is RC Planet as they're in the same building. They don't anticipate any stock but you never know. I found one myself a few weeks ago and luckily I should have my kit this Wednesday. I also bought another one (used) yesterday. Trying to find a kit at that price will be difficult as I called all literally everyplace I knew of. I was going to get a RTR for my 10 year old but you can find used ones around that same price of $140. I wanted the kit so my 13 year old can put it together and that price we're still way ahead rather than buying a TLR 22 2.0.

Qualified 3rd then got a DNS for the main because I plugged my battery in backwards

Oh well, Durstrax DE10 here I come. Had good luck with it in the past so it should ale a good temporary ESC until I can afford switching to a Tekin RS Gen2 17.5 combo.

Drove my car for the first time and found it to jump severally nose up. I really had to be sure I was off the throttle and on brakes while in the air. I tried moving the battery forward, and while that helped a bit, it took away forward bite which I didn't like. Other than the way it jumps, it handled ok.
Anyone have any tips on making it jump more level? The car is basically stock setup.

Stock setup is to stiff for rear motor if that is what you are running. Try black springs up front.

I read the biggest things are a aluminum steering rack, and a transmission brace. My car is all stock with 3 races on it and I have not had any issues what so ever except watch the youtube video about building the diff and follow it.

I would recommend picking up an aluminum or carbon fiber steering rack for your DEX210, assuming its the kit version.

Ive been racing mine for a month or so now, all I have added is a Sumo camber brace. I have broke 1 rear shock tower and 1 rear hub. I run a shorty lipo all the way forward. running a small savox servo and moving the battery ALL the way forward made a massive difference in how it drove. Never broke my steering rack, I dont see that as a must upgrade piece.

I would tend to agree that the rack is not a MUST have but the stock plastic racks wear and I know of one person who complained of breakage (one is not always indicative of an issue). Also, it's more that it's an inexpensive upgrade that generally gives more precise stearing. I fit a FTW carbon fibre steering rack on mine and noticed a difference.

There are several cool inexpensive ones out there. FTW and other Carbon Fibre makes, Exotek and also check out RDRP's aluminum rack v2, which is desighed to eliminate bump steer. I personally prefer a CF steering rack and run one on several of my cars. Light, rigid and not prone to slop.

Also - CF always looks trick.

I think the steering rack upgrade is for consistency not breakage.
