What do you think?

I kinda promised myself after the last car i bought that the next car had to be a kit. i have a couple of rtrs already and really wanted a kit this time..

what really are the differences?
If you have your heart set on building a kit, go for it. I don't think you'll see a kit this good for this cheap again for quite a while.

I'm really tempted to pick up a kit just for spares and to try the shorter chassis since I'm on a really tight 40'x60' indoor track.

I put my b4. 2 rear aluminum 12mm hex on my car. One thing I noticed it seemed to make the width of the car wider.anyone else done this and know if it is still roar legal?

I believe the Ae has the hex on the outside of the drive pin, right? I don't know what legal width of "The Box" is, but widening it will have an effect on the way your car will handle.

Yeah I know it will prob handle different. I just durango would make a option 12mm hex for the car keeping the same width as the 14mm.

I would'nt be surprised to see something like that, although I wouldn't make me happy, as I have all TD wheels..It would be more of a aftermarket companies niche in my opinion..

yeah I do agree there. Just hard to switch cars that do not use the same hex is all. But its all good. Im not gonna complain to much since I got the car so cheap from tower.

Thumbs up

Widening up the rear will give you more steering. I run the car both ways depending on the track.

Surprised coming from 1/8 scale that the 1/10 buggy wheels are not standardized.

12mm hex on the rear is easy, what about 12 mm hex on the front?

You can do that too...but if your front is wider than the rear you will loose a lot of steering.

i used pro line wheels and i actually had to shim out the hex a couple thin spacers to make as wide as the stock kit. i think the wheels had a different offset that washed out nicely w the proline hex i used that was outside of the pin.

go to all dark green springs all around and don't put any spacers in the rear inner camber links.
