Yes you don't have to buy but who wants the older stuff as it just gets hard to find parts unless you buy the latest and greatest.
Generally true. Could go team Associated, in which case your b4.1 would still be serviceable. I have a T4 that I share with my son that is older than he is, yet it's still fully serviceable and reasonably competitive.

I hope Durango follows a similar path where their redesigns are more evolutionary than say, Xray, like you mention whereby with each year you need the latest version.

How old are the 210 and 410v3? I'd have to guess about 2 years.

Nice! Need to order 3 sets. $5 a set isn't too shabby either.

Awesome. I kept buying piston sets for the blanks just to make 2x1.6 and 2x1.7

Want the TLR 22 2.0 but when I can get the RTR for less than $200 out the door it's hard to resist. All I'd need would be tires since I have a Savox 1251MG and extra receiver laying around.

Rumor is Q1 2014. Post from oople says Feb. Nothing official though.

Guessing the new kit will cost $250-300. For $119, you may be able to upgrade for less than that.

On a couple pairs of out drives, it's really tight. I need to use a bit of force to get the thrust bearing in and I have a hard time getting the diff bearing out. Anyone else see this before? Bad batch maybe?

The hard coating on the diff halves probably are just a little more than normal. Just use a fine piece of emory cloth and lightly saned it out just a little til it fits better for you. Sometimes when the hard coating/anodize is applied its just a tad more/less so it happens on occasion with all the companies soon or later.

yep, happen to me on a brand new set. I used a dremel and sanded it til they fit.

Just ordered a dex210. $124 from tower with cupon I could not stop myself. It will look good along side the dex410v3.
