Not quite sure what you are talking about, but both the DEX210 and the DEX210 RTR show up under the Products tab.....

Is the paper between the spur/pinion still the best way to set mesh?

I go by feel then look to make sure it looks right. It's just a tiny amount of play.

Great sig. I can relate.

A simple trick I picked up was to just put on a pinon 1 tooth bigger than the one I want to use. Make the mesh flush with that pinon then swap it out with the one you want to run. Presto perfect pinon mesh.

I'm having a problem with the thurst bearing.
Why cant the diff screw get fit trough the smaller thrust bearing spacer?

Different problem, I'm installing a servo and I only have 2 bolts for the servo mount...can I get away with only using two?

I've had issue with that too.....found a burr on the diff screw at the bottom of the threads, just take a file and clean it up and it will slip right on

I've seen that same in the past, most likely the diff screw, not the thrust. Could you post some pics of your dex LM and modified? i'd love too see what bodies you run, the tower/shock set up and how you did the body mounts on both

What would be a good baseline for the shocks (big bores)? Track is small, packed dirt, and not too rough but not smooth either. I only have 1.2 and 1.3 x6 pistons to play with right now. I was thinking 30 up front and 27.5 out back. I have 2.14 Avid rears or some light blue Durangos and was thinking of 2.63 Avids for the front with the 1.2s front and rear. Jumps arent huge and no whoops.

Not a very good pic of the 30x60' track but it's all I have right now.

Hey Guy's,
just picked up a DEX210 and swapped the stock chassis for the DIMEC +8, is there anything else that is a must change or add for this kit to start off with, also wanted to know some suggestions on tire choices for outdoor dirt track. The track layout was changed a week ago so the dirt is still fresh.
thanks

Good choice! I would make sure the car has an alloy or carbon steering link: http://www.exotekracing.com/dex210-d...steering-link/ and a BMAN rear skid for the original Dimec, if you got the type B don't worry about it... Only other must have "spares" would be a rear tower, gear cover, and pick up a hub / carrier set... I have yet to actually break anything but a rear tower and just recently a front spindle (my fault) in 2 years..

Outdoor offroad tires, always ask your local fast guys.. But you cant go wrong with a set of Proline M3 holeshots and 4 ribs.. Also, before you invest in tires / wheels. ask yourself if you want to use B4 or Durango rear wheel 12mm or 14mm hex??
