The only difference in the spec B RF suspension holder, that I am aware of, is that they have added material so the pivot ball isn't used. The old style ones should fit on the spec B chassis.

I have been looking into buying a new chassis. I have the original alum one right now. I like the rcrd one but itnrequires other parts like the rear hangers to run it. Also looked at the tresery one but it is quite expensive. I'm still not sold on the new or even dimec +8 chassis because of the breaking issues. I have been really looking into the exotek carbon fiber chassis with alum front kick plate. Anyone know a relsese date and and good shares on them? Any input would be great. I'm running mid motor 4 and running a tight med bite indoor track.

I have been running the updated chassis (DIMEC20) for several months now to test it for Durango and I have not managed to break one yet. I did break several of the original DIMEC20's.... So, I don't think that breakage should be a concern anymore when considering the DIMEC/DIMEC20 chassis.

I personally run the updated "B" chassis/parts on my DEX210 & DESC210R. You won't be disappointed. Durango stepped up to the plate and have fixed the issues.
The changes are quite obvious.

I will contact Mike about the Exotek stuff.

+1 to both. The new plastic chassis are very solid. No more breakage concerns.

Do the original motor guard FR and RR supports work as well as the original front bulkhead.
Or are they other thing you have to buy as well?
What about the optional tresrey bulkheads? Can they be modified to fit?

The existing aftermarket RF hangers will work just as they did before, no modification needed. All aftermarket RR hangers will not work without some machine work, or a dremel if you are comfortable with that (I'm not). Same goes for front bulkheads, some machine work would be necessary to make them work.

So if your running mid motor with the type b chassis will the RR hanger work?

And the type B chassis is a +8 isn't it?

They're meant for the B chassis but I think it'd work on the aluminum. The motor guard would need spacers or will have some play though.

Here's a post I had in the DESC210 thread with pics. I'm sticking with aluminum for the DEX210.

Correct. MM will work but you lose that nub bumper.

I don't believe you hve to have the RDRP rear hanger kit to run the RDRP chassis, that is just if you want to run the LRC option, and the chassis is adapted to be able to retain droop with the LRC option. It should work with the original hangers if you want to keep the stock geometry.
