Hi Raul,

I, too, have 7940's in all my 1/10 scale's and I am currently ordering everything I need for my new DEST210R. I was going to get another trusty 7940, but just saw your post about the new 8360's. So I went to Hitec's website to check it out and was surprised to see it has identical specs to the 7940. Can I ask why you would be switching out all your 7940's for 8360's? Unless the 7940's crap out, I don't see any advantage to moving to the 8360's.

Thanks,

Neil

One week later and not even a confirmation email. I sure hope this works, but I ordered ANOTHER pair just in case.

Seems like calling Durango support will get you a faster/easier response. I've also emailed before and waited a good 7-10 days for a response.

Don't mean to interrupt the conversation, but I just built mine. Had a lot of fun (except with the diff) and am really looking forward to racing stock buggy indoors on Saturday. This is my first buggy, so this is new territory for me. I'm coming from mod truck- ran a t4.1.. It sounds like many of you are really enjoying this buggy. I hope this buggy treats me well! I decided to run velcro for the battery strap because the stock plastic thumb screws are awful and I didn't want to pay $10 for 2 little aluminum thumb screws. I tried uploading some pics, but apparently I haven't posted enough yet to link to flickr.. I guess I need to start contributing more. Anyone know how many I need?

Neil,
You are correct. The spec of the servo is the same for the most part. The difference between the two of them are 25t spline, & efficiency. Also the cool red color. We know how much I like red.

Sure..I was "given" a set of exotec rear hubs (6.25)..and I can't seem to find them anywhere..really seemed to help the buggy over the rough stuff and jumps, I'm running the stock chassis and for the track I'm running on it seems to work better than the +8 chassis. I'm running on a small indoor clay track, medium to high traction, tight..lap times range from mid 14's to mid 13's..my set up seems to be pretty standard, I do run the same pistons front & rear (1.4 4 hole). Oil is 35 front & 30 rear. Springs are: Losi pink rears, TD green fronts. But it does work..

Your buggy looks good mike now we just need a different driver behind the wheel lol.... I'm thinking of giving the 2wd buggy class another shot let see....

Get the 210..You know my 210 is dialed..when Kevin comes over and looks at you know it's workin....and your right..if my buggy had a "better" driver it'd win every time..

That's the plan to get a 2WD buggy DEX210 or the new Xray EB4 to try out...

Get the 210..the buggy class is growing..run the 13.5 class..way more fun than the 17.5 class.
